Hi, I'm Priscilla. I spent five years volunteering in the Amazon, and today I look after Casa Alta and the guests who come to stay. Before you arrive I'll send everything you need about the route, parking and check-in. I'll be at the house to welcome you in person, show you how everything works and hand over my welcome guide with the markets, pharmacies, restaurants, beaches and trails I recommend nearby. During your stay I'm a message away (I answer every message, usually within the hour), while leaving you all the privacy and freedom you came for.

How many guests can stay?
Casa Alta sleeps up to 8 guests. Visitors and events are welcome only with prior approval, so just let us know in advance.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes, pets are welcome with prior approval. Please keep them supervised during your stay. Service animals are always welcome.
Is there parking?
Yes, free parking in the private garage. The house sits on a main road and the garage is reached by a curved ramp through a medium-width gate, so very large vehicles or drivers new to ramps may find it tricky.
Are there stairs?
Yes. The house is spread over three levels connected by stairs, which is what gives each space its privacy.
How does check-in work?
Before you arrive we send directions and check-in details. On the day, your host meets you at the house, shows you around and hands over a welcome guide with local tips.
Can you arrange extra services?
Your fridge can be stocked with items you choose in advance. On request and subject to availability, we can also arrange cleaning, meal preparation, airport transfers and a private driver at extra cost.
Can I work remotely?
Yes. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house and a dedicated workspace.
Is there a washing machine?
No, the house doesn't have a washing machine or dryer.
Can I smoke?
Not indoors. Smoking is allowed outside; please use the ashtrays provided.
Is the house secure?
Yes. The whole exterior is monitored by Verisure, with outdoor security cameras.
